This privacy policy explains how MeetLinks ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information (name, email address)
• Meeting recordings and audio files (only with your explicit consent)
• Transcripts and AI-generated summaries
• Usage data and analytics

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR Art. 6:

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): account management and core service delivery
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): service improvement and security
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): optional analytics and marketing

4. Data Storage

All data is stored in the European Union (EU). Audio files and transcripts are processed and stored on EU-based infrastructure. We use Google Vertex AI (region: europe-west1) for AI processing.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access (Art. 15): Request a copy of your data
• Rectification (Art. 16): Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your data
• Portability (Art. 20): Export your data
• Objection (Art. 21): Object to certain processing

You can exercise data portability (export) and erasure directly in the app under Settings → Profile → Privacy & Data.

6. Data Retention

Meeting recordings and transcripts are stored for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
